I expected a gorgeous film because the Daily Tiger said 'the tale is gripping, shattering and buoyant'. The styles of it are exuberant. It is in the end an ungainly picture, no doubt 'Adolphe' has some unimpeachable elements. The experience is a picture full of redemption with lots of enjoyable scenes.
