Langton's ant

When you click the ant, it takes a step forward.
The ant (invented by Chris Langton) behaves according to these simple rules:

• on a white point, paint it black and turn right.
• on a black point, paint it white and turn left.

In the beginning this seems to produce a chaotic pattern,
but after over 10,000 steps the ant starts building a 'highway'
(discovered and named by James Propp).
