Termites (o, invented by Mitchel Resnick) wander around aimlessly in a field of wood chips (/).
If a termite bumps into a chip, it picks it up (ø)
and continues with the random walk.
If a termite is carrying a chip and bumps into another,
it drops the chip, turns around, and starts walking again.
Allthough there is no intelligence in this scheme,
the termites will self-organise and move the wood chips into a large pile,
after a couple of hundred thousand clicks.
